Our personal care home is pleased to offer a convenient healthcare service for our residents with a physician who makes monthly house visits. This service ensures that residents receive personalized care in the comfort of our home, making it easier for those with mobility challenges or those that simply want to stay in to maintain their health. The physician provides a range of services, including routine check-ups, medication management, and general medical consultations, helping residents stay on top of their health without needing to travel to a doctor's office.

Assistance with Self-Administration of Medication

We enjoy supporting our residents in taking their prescribed medications safely and effectively while promoting independence. Care staff may assist by organizing medications, reminding residents of their schedule, or providing guidance on proper administration methods. However, the emphasis is on empowering residents to manage their own medications as much as possible, with staff available to offer help when needed. This ensures residents receive the necessary support while respecting their autonomy and personal preferences.

Home Health / Hospice & Palliative Care Referral

Referring residents to home health services and hospice/palliative care involves identifying those in need, consulting with healthcare providers, and coordinating with specialized care teams to ensure seamless and compassionate care. This referral process is critical in ensuring that residents receive the holistic support they need to live their remaining days with dignity and comfort.

Outings

Our outings not only provide a change of scenery but also promote social interaction, physical activity, and mental stimulation. Whether it's a leisurely stroll in the park, a visit to a local attraction, or a group outing to a buffet, we strive to ensure that each outing is safe, enjoyable, and enriching for all residents.

Light Housekeeping

Our home offers light housekeeping services to maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment. Our staff ensures that common areas and personal spaces are regularly cleaned, allowing our residents to enjoy a comfortable and pleasant living space.

Transportation Services

JLP Comfort Care offers reliable transportation services for residents without access to medical transportation. We ensure timely and safe travel to and from medical appointments, providing peace of mind and supporting the health and well-being of our community members. We also assist residents with running errand errands for some personal reasons.

Medication Delivery

We prioritize the well-being and convenience of our residents by offering reliable medication delivery services. Medications are securely delivered directly to our personal care home, ensuring residents have timely access to the prescriptions they need. Our trained staff carefully manages the process, verifying accuracy and administering medications in accordance with each resident’s care plan. This service enhances safety, reduces stress for residents and their families, and ensures continuity of care in a supportive environment.

Hygiene Assistance

Hygiene assistance plays a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our residents. Our staff members are trained to provide personalized support to individuals who need assistance with a grooming, bathing, toileting, and dressing when there is no home health service or hospice/palliative care service is available.
